5 weeks to go.
I received all the final details re motels etc and it did excite, I must confess. I suppose the fact that a warm sun is shining outside even now at 7pm does help. Back in November and January it took an act of faith to believe that cycling that distance (130km) each day was possible.
Please God there will be no strains, bruises or injuries over the next few weeks.
Really looking forward to D-day but meanwhile much schoolwork and revision has to be done as the academic year reaches a climax for my students with their eyes on Junior and Leaving Certs.

In 2016 started the cycle across Asia (Beijing through Mongolia to Osh in Kyrgyzstan). In 2018 continued the Silk Road traversing the high altitude and rough tracks of the Pamir Highway to Dushanbe (Taj). In 2019, starting at the Arctic Ocean in far north Canada cycled down through the Yukon and following the Rockies into the USA down as far as the heat of Moab (Utah).

Hi Dick - we are so happy for you that all is going well - you are just fantastic - Keep up the good work. All good in Dublin - biy rainy today - Frank spends most of his evenings watching the european cup!!
